"How to Train Your Dragon 2": A pleasant surprise | Cinema
Based on the children's book series by British author Cressida Cowell, "How to Train Your Dragon" (2010) was an unexpected blockbuster, which returned love of dragons; these mythical creatures are usually the nuclear weapon of an army ("Game Of Thrones"), the destroyer bug cities, scavenger princesses and / or man-eater. The unexpected success of the first part is almost always synonymous-of-sequel, even in the field of digital safari animation. Result four years later we have in our cinemas safari "How to Train Your Dragon 2".
This sequel begins about 5 years later (in the timeline of the series) the end of the first half and, just to remember and put context is set for the year 1015 in a fictional DC community Viking called Berk. This section place men and dragons live in a noble attempt to make the world a better safari place to live. Our characters are Hiccup and his dragon Toothless (name in the Latin version), last specimen of a race of dragons known as "Night Fury". Hiccup is the son of the leader of the clan, known as Stoick The Vast character safari who dreams that his rebellious and dreamy child take the lead in the clan and assert their right to live.
Hiccup is something of a pacifist / inventor Viking safari / solo riding his dragon that has been discovering more about the world around them. On one of these trips is where he discovers that dragons are being captured by Drago, safari a mysterious character who through fear and abuse controls this beast (?) like little Hiccup discovers something about his past that will determine everything that happens in the plot.
The film, unlike the first, explore more mature waters with more adult characters and more than vocational existential questions. More dramatic than funny, "How to Train Your Dragon 2" turns out to be more epic, exciting and romantic than its predecessor; in the same way its characters matured, the message and the story do the same. This applies to stay away a little of your profile "children's film" drawing some lessons we left the cross model Pixar film; is appreciated.
Recommended film from beginning to end. Adults and children will come forward to have their own (hopefully more like Toothless) dragon, summarizing the effect that causes this film. When it comes to dreaming, age ceases to be an excluding factor; the end of the day we all have a small viking inside.
