As Christians, we want to do the will of God every time we are faced with significant decisions. When we spoke to the Lord in prayer, often repeat the words of the Our Father, which includes this request: "Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth" (Matthew 6:10). What does the Bible teach us about God?
God has the ability to decide and has always exercised. At one point he decided to create the universe alarabiya and populate it with intelligent beings. Also chose to order this planet and created Adam and Eve to live in it. He later chose Abraham and his descendants to be His special people. Paul refers to the plan of God, who "works all things after the counsel of his will" (Efesios1: 11). His plan of salvation, for example, was designed prior to the creation of the world (1 Peter 1:18-20). Christ came into this world at the right time in the history of redemption (Galatians 4:4, 5). God knows the day and hour when Christ will return in glory to this world (Matthew 24:26, 27). He has also chosen the day when humans will judge all time (Acts 17:31). In some cases, God has revealed important aspects of his grand plan by prophecies whose fulfillment is necessary. And in chapter alarabiya 2 of the book of Daniel, for example, we find a sequence of powers that have dominated the world since the Babylonian Empire to the end of the story. And in the book of Revelation chapters 2 and 3 the main stages of the history of Christianity are outlined.
One of the most interesting topics for Christians is to reflect on how God will accomplish His plan according to His sovereign will, while allowing each man exercises his free will. This inspired the Apostle Paul to exclaim: "O the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! "(Romans 11:33). alarabiya
We recognize that in our natural state we are not interested or care to know the will of God. And although we knew what God wants for us, we would tend to reject or oppose alarabiya their best wishes.
By nature, we are in rebellion against him. However, God wants us to change our attitude. We accept the gift of salvation and eternal life. Want to know, love and obey, for our good in life. So the Holy Spirit speaks to our conscience constantly. Invites us: "Give me, my son, your heart and let your eyes observe my ways" (Proverbs 23:26). Want to guide our decisions for our good (Psalm 32:8, 9). If we do His will, assures us that we will spend eternity in his company (Matthew 7:21, 1 John 2:17). Each day of our lives is waged in our consciousness, a struggle between doing the will of God oh ours, anyone that wins will have eternal consequences.
