Today was the first day in Rio. After the waterfall we headed in what feels like 100 years to get up to none other than Jesus Christ. In hairpin bends and with perhaps 80 km / h we were led up to one of the highest peaks in the city - we think it was about 800 meters above sea level. Today it has been mega hot and it was only warmer to come up in heights. But when one stands on the top of the Rio, you forget the heat and focus only on how beautiful it is. The view is spectacular and you can look out over the city - in addition, the Christ statue itself exuberant and definitely worth seeing!
