This was a single engine aircraft santos equipped with an emergency parachute that is intended to save the passengers and the airplane in most cases, santos what happened!! Maybe the pilot was flying too low that's my best guess, unfortunately there is not flight voice recorder in this type of planes. Sad

So sorry for the families involved. A paradise trip turns to tragedy. santos Not sure what the regulations are in the Bahamas for pilots and aircraft (maintenance specifically), but Hawaii has been no stranger to sightseeing helicopter tour accidents either.
10tacle, the amount of sightseeing helicopters in the Hawaiian islands santos is 10 fold everywhere else just due to the topography of the islands (if you haven't seen them you really should). And there have been crashes of helicopters in the Grand Canyon and the Florida everglades. I think a lot of it has to do with overloading the capacity of the helicopter to get the buck. No touring agency would tell a tourist that he is overweight and can't board the flight with his wife without weighing the risk of bad publicity. Sad but true fact.

The Gospels provide evidence that Jesus showed compassion for members of human society who were poor and discriminated against. He healed the sick, fed the hungry, and resurrected the dead. Even the forces of nature obeyed his voice. (Matthew 11:5; Mark 4:37-39; Luke 9:11-16) Imagine what Jesus will accomplish when he uses the cleansing effect of his ransom sacrifice to benefit all obedient mankind! The Bible promises that by means of Christ’s rule, God “will wipe out every tear from [mankind’s] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”—Revelation 21:4. www.jw.org
As santos someone who is involved in aviation, I would be curious to know when was the last time this plane was thoroughly inspected. Additionally, for future flyers, it is often best to choose a plane with multiple santos engines in case of a failure of one engine. Lastly, santos the FAA should be assisting on the investigation.
