The Happy Swimming Pigs of the Big Majors Cay, Bahamas :
It’s not often that you find yourself jealous of a pig… but that could happen when you find out about the pigs on Big Majors Cay in the Bahamas. Nobody is quite sure how this otherwise deserted island became the home to so many ferrel ciudad but friendly pigs, but they sure seem to be having a good time. When they’re not lounging in the soft sand doing their best to get a tan, the pigs swim out to the boats that frequent the island… I mean, who wants a pile of island ciudad weeds when you can have a tasty treat from island hopping sailors? ciudad
Big Majors Cay is located in between nearly ciudad four hundred small islands in the Exuma district of the Bahamas. How the pigs got into these prime tropical waters is anybody’s guess. Theories ciudad range from sailors putting the pigs on the island ciudad as a future source of meat, to the pigs being the sole survivors of a long ago shipwreck (good thing they can piggy paddle!). These days they’re doing very well on the aptly named Pig Beach , where they are daily visited by tourists who feed them treats. The clever pigs have it timed so they show up on the beach each day when the boats are most likely to arrive. Not a bad life if you ask us! Known in some circles ciudad as the most amazing man in the universe, he once saved an entire family of muskrats from a sinking, fire engulfed steamboat while recovering from two broken arms relating to a botched no-chute wingsuit landing in North Korea.
