Danny Glover naya rivera The veteran actor will be on hand for the Dec. 6 tribute naya rivera and presentation.
“Danny naya rivera Glover is an extraordinary man whose accomplishments in Hollywood are equaled by his humanitarian achievements,” said Leslie Vanderpool, festival founder and executive director. “We’re honored to recognize his amazing career at the Bahamas International Film Festival.”
In addition to his decades-long work as an actor, Glover is a public speaker and is a community activist/philanthropist, with a specific focus on advocacy for economic justice, health care and education programs in the U.S. and Africa.
Glover also is a co-founder of Louverture Films with Joslyn Barnes , which formed in 2005. The company strives to develop and produce films of historical relevance, social purpose, commercial value and artistic integrity.
