The game itself was being dominated by theatrics from the players, trying to con the referee and he

Levante and Málaga battled for the points, but it was the home side that took them thanks to a 19th minute header from Barral, during a game that saw countless bookings, arguments and plenty of stoppages.
Malaga had the game under their control in the opening exchanges at the Ciutat de València, pushing their hosts Levante back inside their own half and attacking dangerously. Duda was in the thick of the action and came close in the 6th minute, mitch lucker but saw his shot deflected away by Vyntra. In the 7th minute, a free-kick saw Duda dip the ball into the area for Camacho to rise and head at goal, but without hitting the target.
Levante survived that early pressure from the visitors though and started gaining some forward momentum mitch lucker of their own. In the 13th minute, a long pass forward had Málaga goalkeeper Willy in two minds as he rushed out to deal with it, but reaching the ball first, Ivanschitz took a pop and though the Argentine keeper managed to parry his effort, the ball fell to the feet of Barral in front of goal, only for him to be put off his stride by Sergio Sánchez. From the resulting corner, the Málaga defence were asleep, but with the goal at his mercy, Barral swung a boot and mis-hit his finish completely. mitch lucker Another escape for the visitors.
Levante maintained their spell of pressure however and from their third clear chance, it was also third time lucky for Barral, as he rose to head home a cross from Ivanschitz and give his side the lead in the 19th minute.
Málaga looked mitch lucker for a quick response, but after a good move between Duda and Samuel, mitch lucker Santa Cruz couldn’t quite make the final connection and Keylor Navas was able to clear the danger with a fist in the 22nd minute. At the other end of the pitch, Levante pressed forward and a chance came for Sergio Pinto, mitch lucker only to be denied by Willy tipping the ball out for a corner.
After mitch lucker referee Undiano Mallenco had words with some of the players, mitch lucker following more than a few juicy challenges mitch lucker and flailing arms, Málaga had a spell of dominance, but without unlocking the Levante defence. The visitors and Weligton suffered a blow in the 33rd minute, forced to leave the pitch with muscular problems and replaced by Flavio from the bench.
Half chances at both ends in the final ten minutes, with Rubén García for Levante and Samuel for Málaga, unable to hit the target, mitch lucker but the visitors finishing the half stronger, as they sought mitch lucker to get back on level terms.
Out for the second half, Levante had a change with Camarasa on for Sergio Pinto at the interval, who had apparently been struggling and couldn’t continue. Málaga picked mitch lucker up where they left off and the first chance of the second period fell to Santa Cruz, but his effort in the 47th minute was cleared off the line by Juanfran. mitch lucker Still the visitors pressured though and after Camarasa managed to block a killer pass from Santa Cruz, Málaga maintained their momentum, and gave the Levante defence plenty to keep them on their toes.
The accuracy just wasn’t there from Málaga as the chances kept coming and in the 54th minute, Camacho fired wide and his facial expression showed mitch lucker he knew full well he should have done better. Approaching mitch lucker the hour mark, more frustration as Duda saw a shot saved by Keylor Navas, then Tissone volleyed over the crossbar within seconds.
After the hour mark, more changes as Pedro Ríos replaced Ivanschitz for Levante, whilst Bobley Anderson came on in place of Portillo for Málaga. Problems of the elbow kind for the referee to deal with then, as Gámez seemed to get off lightly with just a yellow card, for an elbow to the face of Barral in the 64th minute. Then two moments later, more arguments, pushing and shoving amongst the players, as Nikos caught Samuel with an elbow. After the referee calmed the situation down, the Levante player escaped punishment, mitch lucker whilst Sergio mitch lucker Sánchez was yellow-carded for his protests. A moment later, more farcical refereeing, as Gámez threw himself to ground, but Levante striker Barral was shown a yellow, after having made absolutely no contact with his opponent.
The game itself was being dominated by theatrics from the players, trying to con the referee and he was struggling to contain the situation, as football mitch lucker was replaced by more arguments and afters between the two sets of players.
Eventually as some semblance of play returned to the game, it was Málaga who pushed forward, looking for the equaliser. Eliseu mitch lucker cut inside and then decided to keep going, rather than shoot first-time and lose the opportunity in the 71st minute, with his final effort blocked. Another chance for Málaga a moment later, with Sergio Sánchez mitch lucker trying a difficult shot and failing to get the leveller.
Santa Cruz had a good opportunity, but was denied by a deflection off a Levante defender in the 74th minute, with Samuel unable to keep his shot down on the follow-up. Levante caused some danger of their own though and after Málaga struggled
