The thing with England is that it dies cheap to travel, as long as one little book and good planning ahead. So we ended up in Glasgow this weekend. Just simply. We went early Saturday morning on the plane. You realize how much air traffic as you fly all the way parallel to another plane. Seems there is only so much demand that it pay to compete directly flight to flight. universal studios orlando Our airline tickets cost one penny. All reach the tax, which still worked out less than a train ticket. Glasgow Prestwick Airport has a modern Scottish theme. And as the picture universal studios orlando on the left shows, the weather nice bevoeterd. We landed in the rain. By the end of the necessary Starbucks coffee, universal studios orlando the sun shone, and was walking by the time we train, the wind all trees highlighted the soil. After a quiet but he longish trip by train and bus, we arrived our hotel. It was further of central Glasgow than I thought, but absolutely worth it. The left is the view from our room. It was a 3-star hotel with swimming pool, jacuzzi and spa. Had no time for that, but the restaurant's food is amazing! Sunday was the city the place to explore. universal studios orlando We got stuck in the modern part of the city, where the buildings look very futuristic. Links is Armidillo universal studios orlando (conference), the IMAX and Science Centre. They sat on the bank of the Clyde River, so just below the inner city bypass. We have Open Season in 3D look at the IMAX. Die funny. The Science Centre has a number of interesting sights, but this one amaze me. It's an optical trick that it looks like your body disappear. A building on St George's Square. It was built to remember what it was ... cold Way to the hotel we had the bus stop in the rain walking and looking. But this place seemed really nice when we eat there instead. La Tasca is a Spanish restaurant and our waiter's name was Pedro of Spain. It was a nice quiet chat atmosphere, and Pedro helped us to choose the best meal from the menu, as we just talked about his country, South Africa and England. I will just go to Glasgow for this place. My opinion universal studios orlando of Glasgow is like my opinion of ice cream. It's cold, but nice. Next time I will know the place well enough to go see more. But for now I was very happy for the break from the big city.
